Monday in Guangzhou
Today we had a quiet day. This moring we took awalk to the waterfront to watch all the elders do their TaiChi. We then walked to the little park where Daniel refused to get off of the see saw. This afternoon we had to do some paperwork, take Daniel for his passport photo and then for his physical. it went pretty well. He weighs in at a whopping 20 lbs. he's so little. He's wearing 18 month clothes. The 24 month is falling off him. Not to worry, with the way he is eating he will be in the correct sizes soon. dave is going to have to get a second job to cover our grocery bill. This boy can eat! Here are some photos of tonite's display at dinner. We also received our "Going home" Barbie. This is a one of a kind Barbie that Mattel makes for the adoptive parents that stay at the white swan hotel. It's a Barbie holding an Asian baby. We hear it's going for about $300-$400 on Ebay! We won't sell it though (as much as dave may want to!) Tomorrow we have another quiet day. Our guide alvin will take our paperwork to the US consulate. Then we have the Pearl River dinner cruise. Will post more tomorrow! 2 days to go :)
